For the last few weeks, Room 5 has been learning about Transformations like Reflection, Enlargement, Translation, and Rotation. We had to answers questions on a transformation slide.

WALT: Learn about the Maori culture.

This week Room 5 has been learning about the Maori culture. We had to work on this slide and do our pepeha and other stuff. Here is mine.

I found it hard to... Put the Maori words for places into the English.

Next time I could... Try and remember the Maori words for The English places.

 For the past few weeks, I have been working on my science experiment. My second experiment is elephant toothpaste.

NZ-VR

 WALT: Learn about Sir Peter Blake and sea life.

On Monday Room 5 went to our school library and had a VR Experience under the water. It was about Sir Peter Blake and his life. We had to work on a slide about him and answer questions.

I found it hard to... Answer some of the questions.

Refugees

WALT: Activate prior knowledge and infer and locate information.

For the past few weeks, we have been learning about refugees. We had to read some articles and answer the questions the teacher gave us.

Holiday Highlights

 WALT: write a truly captivating holiday recount 

For a few days we have been writing a deconstructive recount about our holidays and add the 5 senses, we had to make it descriptive and after a buddy had to guess what we did.

Reflection :

I found it easy to... find the image. 

I didnt find anything hard.

Maybe next time I could... add more sentences.
