Niue Language Week

 WALT: Learn about the Niuean culture

For the past few weeks, we have been learning about Niuean culture. On a slide, we had to answer find facts about Niue, answer questions, and make a Kahoot about it. We could either do it in pairs or as individuals and I did mine in pairs.

Niue Math Problems

 WALT: Learn more fractions and estimating.

For the past few days, Rm 5 has been learning about Niuean culture. Our teacher gave us some Niuean-related math problems. These Problems mainly focused on geometry potion and orientation. We had the choice to add our answers out on a slide by ourselves or with a group, I chose to do it with a group. Here is my group's slides

I found it hard to... Work out the KMs to get to each village

Next time I could... Try different ways to work out the problems

Ag Day Projects

Today my whole school had an Ag day ( if you don't know what that is it explains it on the slide), we had to prepare for this 2 weeks before. Each class had to make their own projects and then bring them today. Our class had to make a potato character and a recycled creature. We also made some stuff at school.

I didn't find anything hard.

Next time I could... Make the other projects as well.

Scratch Transformations

WALT: Learn about Transformations. 

 For the last few weeks, Room 5 has been learning about Transformations. We had to create a scratch project and code the transformations in it. Here is my project and code the transformations in it.

TE WIKI O TE REO MĀORI

WALT: Learn about the Maori culture.

This week Room 5 has been learning about the Maori culture. We had to work on this slide and do our pepeha and other stuff. Here is mine.

Next time I could... Try and remember the Maori words for The English places.
